We collect only the personal data we need to take your orders, reply to you and run this website, and we don’t sell it. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and your rights.

Who we share it with
We share data only with the services we use to run the shop, and only what each needs:
- Stripe, to process payments
- An Post and GLS, to deliver orders (name, address, phone, email)
- MailerLite, to send our newsletter, only if you subscribe
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics), to record your cookie choices
- Cloudflare Turnstile, to protect our forms from spam
- Pressable, which hosts our website
- Google (Google Workspace), for our email, including the order and contact emails we send
- Google Analytics, only if you accept statistics cookies
- Google Maps, if a map is shown on a page
- Our accountants, advisers and, where the law requires, the authorities
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Order, invoice and tax records: 6 years
- Accounts: until you ask us to delete them.
- Contact enquiries: 12 months
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe
- Cookie consent records: as set by Cookiebot
- Analytics data: 14 months
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to move it to another service. If we use your data because you agreed, you can withdraw consent at any time, and unsubscribing from the newsletter is one click. Email hello@clarkeandhoban.com and we will reply within one month. We don’t make decisions about you using automated processing.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Children
This website is not aimed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
