You can return unused, sealed items within 14 days of receiving them. Coffee and other food items can’t be returned if you’ve simply changed your mind, but if anything is faulty, damaged or wrong, we’ll always put it right.
Changed your mind?
Tell us within 14 days of receiving your order. Items must be unused, sealed and in their original packaging. Coffee, chai and other food products can’t be returned for change of mind. This policy sits alongside your legal rights as a consumer, which it doesn’t limit.
How to start a return
- Email hello@clarkeandhoban.com with your order number, the items you’d like to return and, if you like, the reason.
- We’ll reply with instructions and the address to send them to. Please don’t post anything back before you’ve heard from us, so we can expect it.
- Send the items back within 14 days of telling us. Keep your proof of postage, and we recommend a tracked service.
- Return postage for change-of-mind returns is paid by you.
If you collected your order from the café, you can also bring the items to us on a Saturday once we’ve agreed the return by email.
Refunds
Once we’ve received your return and checked it, we’ll refund you within [7] working days. The refund goes to the original payment method and includes the standard delivery charge you paid. If an item comes back used or damaged, we may reduce the refund to reflect the loss in value.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
Contact us as soon as you can, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, with your order number and photos. This applies to coffee too. We’ll arrange a replacement or a refund and cover the return postage. Your legal rights for faulty goods are not limited to 48 hours.
Exchanges
Want a different colour or size? Email us first. We’ll swap it if we have the item in stock, and the same return rules apply.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions have their own cancellation and pause rules. See section 9 of our Terms & Conditions.
